This test is based on the diagnostic criteria of HPD. The core of the disorder is imperative need to be the center of attention. People with a histrionic personality disorder can be successful socially and at work but easily influenced by other people, overly dramatic and emotional, and very sensitive to criticism and disapproval. They have a low tolerance for frustration, frequently changing emotions, and are excessively concerned with their looks. The main behavioral patterns include blaming failure and disappointment on others, and constant seeking for reassurance and approval.
